Initial application / purchase:

Q. What is a Gateway Easy Pay Account?
A. The Gateway Easy Pay Account is a revolving line of credit that provides an easy way to finance your
initial Gateway purchase as well as make additional purchases at any time, up to your credit limit.

Q. Why didn't I receive the lowest annual percentage rate available or other special program features?
A. Our independent lenders determine the annual percentage rate as well as qualification for promotional
financing features based on its underwriting guidelines. Customers not eligible for the lowest available
rate or a promotional financing feature may still be offered financing. Increasing the amount paid each
month can reduce the total finance charges.


Account maintenance:

Q. Can I transfer the balances of my other credit cards to my Gateway Easy Pay Account?
A. The Gateway Easy Pay Account is solely for purchases of Gateway provided systems and peripherals.
We are unable to transfer balances to this account from your other credit cards.

Q. Can I update my personal information, such as my phone number and address online?
A. Yes, at the account maintenance page, enter your account # and you will be transferred to the site to
make the changes.

Q. Can I view my account information online?
A. Yes, at the account maintenance page, enter your account # and you will be transferred to the site to
view your information.

Q. Can I pay my Gateway Easy Pay bill online?
A. Yes, at the account maintenance page, enter your account # and you will be transferred to the site to
make your payment.

Q. Where do I send monthly payments when I pay by check?
A. Your monthly statement shows the proper address to send payment.

Q. May I prepay on my account for several months?
A. You can pay extra toward the balance, but still need to make regular scheduled payments.


Account Utilization:

Q. Am I penalized for paying off my promotion early?
A. No, there is no penalty for paying off your account early.

Q. What is the difference between my current balance and the available credit?
A. Current balance is the amount you owe the funding source. The available credit is the amount available
to you to make additional purchases.

Q. If I purchased using a promotion, is that available to me on other purchases?
A. Promotions are limited time offers. Please review current promotional offers and qualifications on the
Gateway.com site or contact a Gateway sales representative via the phone.
