Excellent Monitor when using digital video input. To get the BEST quality picture on LCD monitors and TVs, you MUST: 1) Use digital video input, such as HDMI or DVI. 2) Set resolution to match highest resolution of display. If the display is 1920x1200, then set your video card to the same. Too many LCD monitors and TV's are fuzzy when using VGA (analog video), so heed this warning!

I truley love this monitor, the only downside is it does scratch easily. I also have been having a devil of a time trying to get the speaker bar for this monitor. All in all I would give it a big thumbs up.

I have to say that after having this machine and monitors for over 3 years now, I am steadfast in saying that the product is outstanding. I trade futures contracts for a living, therefore my machine and monitors have to be the best as money is on the line. I will be buying a third 24" this week.

This is an excellent monitor, the games look beautiful and the movies fantastic, the 1920x1200 resolution is gorgeous, nice to do homework. I recommend.

So I get this monitor and expect to plug my DVI PC cable in and my HDTV cable from the cable box so I can run the TV in PiP mode, and you will only be able to use PiP if you use the VGA and DVI or VGA and HDMI, [what] sense does this make? Taking it back tomorrow morning.

I'm a Gateway fan that just got disappointed lately I made the assumption that Gateway didn't change anything on the FHD2400 model by Faroudja, my mistake. I like gaming and I added the FHD2401 the new model as my second monitor; the visual quality sucks, they changed the ms from 5ms to 2ms big difference, side by side the 2401 looks if I'm plugged in the VGA line not the DVI-D. I've tried to make all the adjustment using my graphic control center and nothing works so I'm junking this monitor and buying a refurbished 2400. Don't think things don't get changed even if they're working great, check all the specs. Now it's my new 24" TV, like I needed that.

I have 2 of these monitors. They are nice and bright, 1 hooked to HD via my cable box (with the optional PiP, while I game and watch TV, all at the same time. The second monitor is set for text. The auto-rotation software is a nice plus. The plentiful connections make it nice to connect it. The OSD is quick and easy, at the touch of a finger. The viewing angles are nice, with the tilt/rotatable monitor support that came with the monitor. I am overall pleased with my monitors. They are great for movies and excellent for gaming (with the 2-5 ms response time). Maybe I am lucky, but all I know when I get around to it, I may buy a 3rd and start doing pan-a-round desktop or general viewing. Cons - It does have a little light bleed but not very noticeable after a while. The optional speaker bar isn't the best, too tinny sounding in my opinion. Doesn't get recognized by Vista 32 o/s as a Gateway, just as a general pnp monitor.

Tried two of them. Neither worked. Tried all the inputs - could not get even the OSD to come up - the buttons worked, but they did not do a thing. Tried all the inputs - DVI, VGA, HDMI and got nothing on any of the inputs of either unit....

I cannot access the features such as PIP as the mouse will not travel over that menu. I cannot get rid of the menu. The screen flickers darker/lighter continuously. [edit] The monitor did not come with an instruction booklet or a disk. [edit]
